ABOUT PAMA |
The Photopolymer Additive Manufacturing Alliance (PAMA) is a community dedicated to advancing the science, standards, and responsible adoption of photopolymer additive manufacturing (PAM) — a field spanning technologies from stereolithography (SLA) and digital light processing (DLP) to inkjet and beyond.
Co-founded by the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) and RadTech, the nonprofit association for UV and electron beam technologies, PAMA has brought together researchers, industry partners, government agencies, and NGOs since its launch in 2021 with a shared mission: to build the measurement science, common standards, and collaborative infrastructure this field needs to thrive.
Today, PAMA is doubling down on its commitment to the research community. We are a home for scientists and engineers — in academia and beyond — who are pushing the boundaries of what photopolymer AM can do. Whether you're investigating new resin chemistries, characterization methods, sustainability, biomedical applications, or computational modeling, PAMA connects your work to a global network of peers doing the same.
PAM JAM is our monthly research talk series spotlighting early-career researchers across the PAM community. Each session is designed not just to share new findings, but to forge the cross-lab connections that turn a field into a community. If you're doing interesting work — or want to know who else is — PAM JAM is for you.
